The Texans had arguably the best pass-rushing duo in the league last season in Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter.<\/p>\n
Both earned All-Pro honors, and it\u2019s safe to expect they\u2019ll once again be among the league\u2019s elite in 2026.<\/p>\n
Most teams struggle to find even one high-level pass rusher. The Texans have one on each side, which makes life extremely difficult for opposing offenses.<\/p>\n
Where Houston could look to improve is along the interior. They did bring back veteran defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins, an above-average player, along with Naquan Jones, but there\u2019s still room to strengthen that group.<\/p>\n
Tommy Togiai stepped up in a big way last season, and it feels like he could develop into a real difference-maker moving forward.<\/p>\n
The Texans also signed Logan Hall, a former second-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022. If there\u2019s a coaching staff capable of unlocking his potential, it\u2019s defensive coordinator Matt Burke and head coach DeMeco Ryans.<\/p>\n
As it stands, Houston has a very strong defensive front overall, but they could still improve their depth.
