Things are trending in the right direction, and it feels like that upward trajectory is going to continue.<\/p>\n<p>Five-star DL to visit twice this spring<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">One of Michigan\u2019s biggest targets recently scheduled another visit, as 2027 five-star defensive lineman <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/player\/marcus-fakatou-46149091\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marcus Fakatou<\/a> will be on campus this weekend, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/teams\/michigan-wolverines\/news\/michigan-recruiting-intel-elite-defensive-lineman-schedules-surprise-visit\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">report from Rivals ($)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">This new trip adds onto his visit schedule, where he was already set to take an unofficial visit for Michigan\u2019s spring game on April 18. He also has his official visit set for the weekend of June 19, so he will be in Ann Arbor a lot over the next few months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Fakatou has talked about his relationship with new defensive line coach Larry Black in the past, and it sounds like he has a lot of trust in the staff.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201cThe relationship I built over there with the new d-line coach (Larry Black and coach Powell, they\u2019ve just done a good job recruiting me,\u201d Fakatou told Rivals earlier this year. \u201cI feel really confident with them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Fakatou is one of the top defensive linemen in the entire 2027 class, so this would be a home run get if Kyle Whittingham and company can get the job done.<\/p>\n<p>Three-star WR recaps Michigan visit<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Unofficial visits have been taking place the last couple of weeks, and 2027 three-star wide receiver <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/player\/gavin-honore-46147861\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gavin Honore<\/a> was on campus last week. His time in Ann Arbor met his expectations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201cIt was good,\u201d Honore told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/teams\/michigan-wolverines\/news\/michigan-recruiting-intel-elite-defensive-lineman-schedules-surprise-visit\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">On3\u2019s Ethan McDowell ($)<\/a>. \u201cIt was everything like I expected\u2026I\u2019ve had a relationship with coach Simon, but this was my first time actually being able to spend time and see how he coaches his players and all that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201c(Simon is) a young guy, so he can actually go out there and run with the guys, giving them a realistic look at every drill. And that\u2019s what I like in coaches. They can actually go out there and show you what to do, what\u2019s right from wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">For a lot of the recruits, just the fact Michigan is Michigan goes a long way. It\u2019s an iconic brand, and Honore could feel the history inside the Big House.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201cEven when I went up to the stadium, the whole stadium, it\u2019s just straight bleachers,\u201d he added. \u201cI just like how they keep it traditional, and it\u2019s a very historic program, so I just got to learn a lot more about the program that I didn\u2019t know. It was just a blessing being out there and getting to be a part of a program like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">No official visit has been set for Honore yet, but he is looking into it.<\/p>\n<p>Important Michigan target reclassifies to 2027 class<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">A new target has emerged for Michigan in the 2027 class now that four-star safety <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/player\/pole-moala-46154623\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pole Moala<\/a> has reclassified. Moala feels ready to get to college football sooner, so he decided to go for it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201cI just got approved today so it\u2019s 100% official,\u201d Moala told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/news\/2027-four-star-pole-moala-officially-reclassifies-ole-miss-michigan-early-teams-to-beat\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rivals ($)<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m excited, it\u2019s a great opportunity for me and something I\u2019ve been talking about with my family for awhile. I feel I\u2019m ready and it\u2019s an opportunity that I didn\u2019t think I could pass up. All the colleges that were recruiting me said they liked me even more if I came out early so I didn\u2019t see any drawbacks to it and it\u2019s going to be an exciting opportunity going through the process and taking my visits.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Moala admitted that Michigan and Ole Miss are at the top of his list right now, and he hasn\u2019t even been to Ann Arbor yet. The Wolverines will welcome Moala to campus on April 6.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201cTyler Stockton is my lead recruiter and he\u2019s a great guy,\u201d he said. \u201cThe whole staff is great and I\u2019m excited at what they\u2019re building. I\u2019ve never been to Michigan before but I\u2019ll be up there April 6-8 and excited to check it out. The staff is known for development and coach Stockton has produced some really good defensive backs so my interest is really high.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Some other schools to watch in Moala\u2019s recruitment are Cal, UCLA and Oklahoma.<\/p>\n<p>2027 in-state three-star wide receiver <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/player\/charles-britton-46149816\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Charles Britton III<\/a> will be taking an official visit to Michigan the weekend of June 19, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/news\/wr-tre-britton-recaps-mizzou-sets-new-officials\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rivals\u2019 Allen Trieu<\/a>. He attends Belleville High School.Michigan offered 2028 five-star wide receiver <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/player\/braylon-clark-46151079\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Braylon Clark<\/a>.Michigan also offered <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/player\/jaylen-addai-46152961\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jaylen Addai<\/a> on Tuesday, who is the son of former Indianapolis Colts running back Joseph Addai.
