The Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> continue to wait for Aaron Rodgers<\/a>‘ decision. He doesn’t know whether he’ll come back for another season or retire.<\/p>\n

Some believe that he’s leaning toward returning,<\/a> with the Steelers as the only logical destination. However, with no clear timeline for his decision<\/a> announcement, the team might have grown frustrated, according to NFL<\/a> Network insider Mike Garafolo.<\/p>\n

Making an appearance on “Good Morning Football,” the renowned insider on Rodgers’ seemingly imminent return to Pittsburgh:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Mike McCarthy got hired, I know for a fact that hire was not about luring Rodgers back. But it did increase the chances of Rodgers coming back,\u201d Garafolo said. \u201cI don\u2019t know if it\u2019s a slam dunk, based on some of the conversations that I\u2019ve had. I\u2019m sure the Steelers would like some clarity before they get to the draft.\u201d<\/p>\n

Replacing Mike Tomlin with Mike McCarthy looked like a big move to stay in Rodgers’ good graces. He reportedly chose Pittsburgh because of Tomlin, so getting him back together with the head coach who helped him win his only Super Bowl was a solid move by the front office.<\/p>\n

That said, Rodgers has always marched to the beat of his own drum. He’s not going to rush the process, even though the team clearly needs to know who’s going to be on the roster, how much money will be available, and the potential replacement options if he decides to ride into the sunset.<\/p>\n

Rodgers has certainly earned the right to walk away on his own terms and take as much time as he wants and needs to make such a major career decision.
