Per a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Detroit Lions<\/a> free agent DJ Reader took a visit this week to the Baltimore Ravens<\/a>.<\/p>\n Reader just completed a two-year, $22 million contract with the Lions<\/a>. In his two seasons with Detroit, Reader played in and started 32 games, totaling 51 tackles, 12 quarterback hits, four tackles for loss and three sacks.<\/p>\n In 2025, Reader registered 28 tackles. The 6-foot-3, 330-pound defensive tackle is a 10-year NFL veteran and has played in 137 regular-season games and started 128. In his career, Reader has totaled 328 tackles, 56 quarterback hits, 27 tackles for loss and 12.5 sacks.<\/p>\n Originally selected by the Houston Texans<\/a> in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL draft, Reader spent his first four seasons with the Texans before signing with the Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> and playing four seasons in The Queen City.
