Wilson added that Goodson is expected to sign a one-year deal, pending a physical.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">UPDATE: Falcons <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atlantafalcons.com\/news\/atlanta-falcons-running-backs-sign-tyler-goodson\" data-t-l=\":b|z|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announce<\/a> they&#8217;ve signed Goodson.<\/p>\n<p>Why didn&#8217;t the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/teams\/indianapolis-colts\/338\" data-autotag=\"d3fda36a-3eb5-4700-8763-caba831c06ae\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Colts<\/a> re-sign Tyler Goodson?<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Goodson has spent the last three seasons with the Colts. He&#8217;s also caught 19 passes for 103 yards with another score, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pff.com\/\" data-t-l=\":b|z|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">according to PFF<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Last season, Goodson appeared in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/G\/GoodTy00.htm\" data-t-l=\":b|z|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">11 games<\/a>, missing some time due to injury. Ameer Abdullah emerged as the top secondary option at running back as the season went on.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Goodson also contributed regularly on special teams, playing 301 snaps over the last two seasons, which includes handling some kick return duties.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Without Goodson in the mix, the Colts&#8217; running back depth needs a boost.
