Following the initial wave of NFL free agency, Jared Feinberg of Sports Illustrated released an updated two-round mock draft<\/a> for the 2026 NFL draft.<\/p>\n In the mock, the Miami Dolphins<\/a> select Tennessee<\/a> cornerback Colton Hood at No. 30 overall (the first-round pick they acquired from the Denver Broncos<\/a> as part of the Jaylen Waddle trade<\/a>). Following that trade, Denver is not scheduled to make its first pick in the draft until the second round at No. 62 overall.<\/p>\n With that second-round pick, Feinberg has the Broncos adding Oklahoma<\/a> defensive tackle Gracen Halton.<\/p>\n “After losing John Franklin-Myers in free agency, the Broncos need to find their replacement for a versatile interior lineman who can play in multiple alignments up front,” Feinberg wrote for Sports Illustrated<\/a>. “Halton is an excellent penetrator and pass-rusher for the position and would be a fun piece for Vance Joseph to work with.”<\/p>\n Halton (6-3, 293 pounds) ran a 40-yard dash in 4.82 seconds at the NFL combine after totaling 63 tackles, 8.5 sacks and three forced fumbles in his final two seasons (26 games) with the Sooners<\/a>.<\/p>\n Need a news break?
