The Kansas City Chiefs may have just revealed their latest roster move and the newest player to join the franchise.<\/p>\n

The Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> are getting closer to the 2026 NFL draft<\/a>, which is set for April 23 to 25 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The three-day event is set for Point State Park and Acrisure Stadium, and that\u2019s where the Chiefs will round out their 2026-27 lineup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One of the biggest questions surrounding Kansas City at the draft is who they\u2019ll pick with their round one pick. Since the team usually has a good record, they usually don\u2019t have a high pick, but this year, they\u2019re going at No. 9.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, March 28, the Chiefs took to social media to draw attention to one stunning college player. So, are they tipping off the NFL<\/a> world to their first round draft pick?<\/p>\n

Kansas City Chiefs Celebrate Blake Miller<\/p>\n

The Chiefs shared footage of Clemson offensive tackle Blake Miller on social media on Saturday. In the post, they told followers to \u201ckeep an eye out\u201d<\/a> for the Clemson star in this year\u2019s draft. So, it appears the front office is looking at him.<\/p>\n

According to Miller\u2019s official NFL draft profile<\/a>, he\u2019s the \u201cultimate iron man at right tackle with 54 career starts.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMiller has unusual lateral quickness and fluidity in space despite playing too upright,\u201d his profile continues. On the downside, \u201chis hands lack accuracy and command in both phases, but he can recover and make blocks with a finisher\u2019s mindset.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moving to the brighter side, the player is \u201crarely beaten by rush games,\u201d according to the league, \u201cbut he has his edges attacked because of his hand issues.\u201d He\u2019ll also \u201cencounter difficulties at the next level without better pad level, core strength and cleaner technique.\u201d\u00a0The good news is that if he gets those areas in check, the NFL believes he can become a \u201csolid\u201d right tackle.<\/p>\n

Kasnsa City Chiefs Also Looking at Tight Ends in Draft<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, March 11, the Kansas City Chiefs officially announced<\/a> that Travis Kelce would return to the team<\/a> for the 2026-27 season, sharing a post on social media with a clip of him returning, noting, \u201cLike he never left.\u201d<\/p>\n

But, the Chiefs are still looking at tight ends in the draft. In a Thursday, March 26 feature for Arrowhead Addict, Matt Conner states that<\/a> the \u201cChiefs are spending time with some of the better tight end prospects in this year\u2019s draft class.\u201d<\/p>\n

Conner points out that the Chiefs have been actively visiting with tight end prospects ahead of the draft, including Georgia\u2019s Oscar Delp and N.C. State\u2019s Justin Joly<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the Chiefs to be able to add a productive pass catcher at tight end while Kelce is still around would be a significant boost to his learning curve,\u201d Conner noted.<\/p>\n

Conner also states that it\u2019s \u201cpossible that Kelce looks older and the rest of the position looks uninspired in \u201926,\u201d so these selections are a \u201cgood way for the offense to protect itself against those concerns while gaining upside for the long term.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, who will the Kansas City Chiefs draft with their very early round one picks? It has to be a game-changer for the future of this franchise.<\/p>\n
