The Buffalo Bills<\/a>, Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> and Seattle Seahawks<\/a> came into the 2026 offseason with a need or two along the edge.<\/p>\n

The Bills got a disappointing showing from Joey Bosa last season, and while they have since replaced him with Bradley Chubb<\/a>, we know the veteran isn’t exactly reliable because of his injury history.<\/p>\n

The Seahawks lost Boye Mafe in free agency and could have used an addition along the edge even before his departure. The Seahawks’ defense is elite, no doubt, but they don’t have that alpha edge rusher to anchor their pass-rush.<\/p>\n

In Philly, the Eagles lost Jaelan Phillips in free agency and there is no telling if Brandon Graham will retire again, which leaves Philadelphia in need of two edge rushers.<\/p>\n

With all three teams having a common need, the Bills, Eagles and Seahawks were all named as possible trade partners for Cleveland Browns<\/a> superstar edge rusher Myles Garrett, who has been the subject of trade speculation recently.<\/p>\n

Here’s what Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport<\/a> said about Garrett and the Bills, Seahawks and Eagles as possible trade destinations.<\/p>\n

“The Bills had just 36 sacks as a team last year. Garrett could make a good defensive line one of the league’s best,” Davenport said of Buffalo. “And if the Bills don’t make the Super Bowl, Beane isn’t going to care about the picks anyway.”<\/p>\n

“The Eagles have quite a bit of young talent on the defensive front (again, Howie Roseman), but after Jaelan Phillips got a monster contract from the Carolina Panthers<\/a>, the team lacks an anchor on the edge,” he said of the Eagles. “Garrett would provide that anchor and then some. And one of those young players like edge-rusher Nolan Smith or tackles Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter could be used as a pot-sweetener.”<\/p>\n

“A Garrett trade would be the ultimate all-in move from Seattle general manager John Schneider. In theory, the Seahawks have the cap space to make a trade happen\u2014over $33 million. What they might not have is a player to include in the trade who would turn Cleveland’s gears, so the team might have to up the draft capital involved by including say a Day 2 pick with two firsts,” Davenport wrote of the Seahawks. “Some may call this deal unnecessary\u2014after all, Seattle just won the Super Bowl. But it’s undeniable that Garrett would make Seattle’s defense that much scarier.”<\/p>\n

Trade speculation has swirled around Garrett after the Browns revised his contract<\/a>, which makes it easier to trade him if that’s the path Cleveland wants to go at some point.<\/p>\n

However, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo<\/a> recently reported that the Browns have no interest in trading Garrett.<\/p>\n

While that might be true now, things can change very quickly in the NFL.<\/p>\n

After all, a year ago it looked like Garrett was done in Cleveland after requesting a trade, only for him to get a contract extension that kept him with the Browns.<\/p>\n

If things go south for Cleveland in 2026, it’s not crazy to think Garrett could demand a trade again, either by the trade deadline or in 2027.<\/p>\n

If either of those scenarios play out, we’d suspect Buffalo, Philadelphia and Seattle would be among the three teams calling.<\/p>\n
