Buffalo Bills<\/a> quarterback Josh Allen may have been much more hurt than he let on during the final weeks of the season.<\/p>\n Allen suffered a foot injury in the team\u2019s December win over the Cleveland Browns<\/a>, then played hurt for the remainder of the season and the playoffs. Allen was seen in a soft boot and crutches after the team\u2019s season ended with a loss to the Denver Broncos<\/a> in the divisional round of the playoffs, raising some concern about the severity of his injury.<\/p>\n New head coach Joe Brady spoke out about Allen\u2019s recovery process, sharing a stark admission about just how hurt he was over the final games of the season.<\/p>\n Josh Allen Could \u2018Barely Walk\u2019<\/p>\n Allen showed some signs of the injury during the final stretch of the season, when the Bills were in a desperate attempt to catch the New England Patriots<\/a> for the division lead.<\/p>\n Allen ended up taking a break in the final week, playing just one snap in the season finale against the New York Jets<\/a> to maintain his streak of consecutive starts before heading to the bench, but was still hurt in the playoffs.<\/p>\n Brady revealed this week that Allen could \u201cbarely walk\u201d during his final games.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s good to go,\u201d Brady told NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero<\/a>. \u201cThe thing about Josh Allen, he got surgery after the season, but he\u2019s playing as if you think there\u2019s nothing wrong with him. The guy could barely walk, and then he\u2019s playing games and it\u2019s not impacting [his play]. He\u2019s built different. And let\u2019s hope it continues that way, but he\u2019ll be good to go in the offseason.\u201d<\/p>\n Josh Allen Excited About Team\u2019s Progress<\/p>\n Brady added that he\u2019s been in contact with Allen, who is excited about the direction of the team. The Bills have added<\/p>\n \u201cI talk with him regularly,\u201d Brady said.
