The Colts have a modest seven selections in this year’s draft, with only two picks coming in the top 100.

Let’s take a closer look at who Ian Cummings has Indianapolis selecting in his latest mock.

Expert NFL picks: Exclusive betting insights only at USA TODAY.Pick 47: Josiah Trotter, LB, Missouri

What’s the need? Depth is needed, and more competition for playing time is needed. You name it, the Colts need it at linebacker. This is a position where Ballard should be double-dipping in the NFL draft.

What Cummings had to say: “Run defense is becoming more and more valuable amidst the new two-high evolution, and Josiah Trotter is one of the best run-defending LBs in the class with his instincts, explosion, and take-on ability.”

Pick 78: Dani Dennis-Sutton, EDGE, Penn State

What’s the need? Arden Key and Micheal Clemons give the rotation a boost, but ideally, the Colts would still add a more high-impact presence to pair with Laiatu Latu. However, finding that caliber of player without a first-round pick may not be likely. So adding more competition and bolstering the depth may be the way the Colts have to go here.

What Cummings had to say: “Dani Dennis-Sutton is somewhat stiff, but at 6-foot-6 and almost 260 pounds, he’s an elite linear athlete, a competent run defender, and an absolute motor monster on the rush.”

March 29, 2026, 8:15 a.m. ET In a three-round 2026 NFL mock draft from Pro Football Network, the…

[2059
95878,2005,7,2004,392,2381,6,49915,95900,95882,98073,95903,97541,96013,95896,95888,95899,95883,98101,95881
0":"post-841476","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-indianapolis-colts","8":"tag-accessfree","9":"tag-colts","10":"tag-football","11":"tag-indianapolis","12":"tag-indianapolis-colts","13":"tag-indianapoliscolts","14":"tag-nfl","15":"tag-sstssportsnflcolts","16":"tag-sstsncolts","17":"tag-tagamerican-football","18":"tag-tagarden-key","19":"tag-tagindianapolis-colts","20":"tag-taglaiatu-latu","21":"tag-tagmichael-pittman-jr","22":"tag-tagnational-sports","23":"tag-tagnfl","24":"tag-tagoverall-neutral","25":"tag-tagsports-news","26":"tag-tagzaire-franklin","27":"tag-typestory
["GET
