Former Jacksonville Jaguars’<\/a> second round draft pick and wide receiver Laviska Shenault<\/a> is currently in the UFL on the Birmingham Stallions roster.<\/p>\n The Stallions opened the 2026 UFL season with a 15-13 win over the Louisville Kings. Shenault did not log any stats<\/a> in that game.<\/p>\n Laviska Shenault was an early-round draft pick by the Jaguars<\/a><\/p>\n The\u00a0Jaguars<\/a>\u00a0selected Shenault with the 42nd overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft out of Colorado. Shenault brought a versatile, do-it-all presence to the receiver position.<\/p>\n In two seasons with Jacksonville, Shenault appeared in 30 games, which included making 22 starts. He caught 121 passes during that span for 1,219 yards and five touchdowns.<\/p>\n Expert NFL picks: Exclusive betting insights only at USA TODAY.<\/a><\/p>\n Along with his contributions in the passing game, Shenault also carried the ball 29 times,\u00a0averaging 4.6 yards<\/a>\u00a0per attempt.<\/p>\n Prior to the start of the 2022 season–Shenault’s third in the NFL–Jacksonville traded him to Carolina for a 2023 seventh-round pick and a 2024 sixth-round pick.<\/p>\n Shenault played out his rookie deal with the\u00a0Panthers<\/a>, totaling 37 receptions over those two seasons, including just 10 in 2023.<\/p>\n He then spent time with the LA Chargers and\u00a0Seattle Seahawks<\/a>\u00a0in 2024 before catching on with Buffalo during the 2025 offseason. The Bills would then release Shenault during roster cutdowns. Shenault did not play any regular-season NFL snaps in 2025.<\/p>\n
