Six Maryland football alumni took part in pro day workouts Friday at Jones-Hill House, in hopes of finding a spot in the 2026 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n
Wide receivers Octavian Smith Jr., Jalil Farooq and Shaleak Knotts, offensive tackle Alan Herron, defensive back Jalen Huskey and defensive tackle Cam Rice worked out with scouts from 30 of 32 NFL teams in attendance.<\/p>\n
While all six prospects have workouts with teams scheduled, only Herron has a top-30 visit scheduled with a team: the New Orleans Saints.<\/p>\n
