Before becoming a public figure alongside Mahomes, Brittany, formerly Brittany Matthews, built one of the most accomplished careers in University of Texas at Tyler women\u2019s soccer history from 2013 to 2016. She finished her career second all-time in total points (78) and goals (31), ranked third in assists (16) and game-winning goals (10), and was tied for third in games played (74).<\/p>\n

Her 2016 season stands out as arguably the best in program history. That year, she scored 18 goals, and seven game-winning goals, all single-season program records. She also delivered four separate three-goal (hat trick) performances, tying the school record for most goals in a single match.<\/p>\n
