Why not throw in arguably the best athlete size, speed-wise, in Mike Washington Jr.?<\/p>\n
This is a very different player, I think, than Kenneth Walker.<\/p>\n
Mike Washington is more of a rumbling, bumbling, sometimes stumbling runner.<\/p>\n
Point A to point B, he can still reel off explosives.<\/p>\n
I mean, the Ken Walker thesis, I guess, worked out for them, where maybe one of their goals for splitting carries was to say, “Well, we get him in the playoffs, so we’ll get him for all 17 games.”<\/p>\n
Keep him fresh.<\/p>\n
And obviously, that turned into a Super Bowl MVP.<\/p>\n
Almost certainly in the early part of the draft, the Seahawks are gonna pick a running back, and there’s not many to pick from.<\/p>\n

We don’t know what Brian Flores’ vision for the offense is gonna be, but if we’re gonna just kind of maybe piece the dots together here, he was the run game coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers.<\/p>\n
It certainly seems like they want to double down on this outside zone system.<\/p>\n
It does fit Mike Washington, maybe not perfectly early on.<\/p>\n
He’s gonna be definitely a post-draft riser if this scenario comes to pass.<\/p>\n
