The Chiefs need to add a wide receiver to a room that currently sports Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy and not much else. Kansas City has also made something of a habit of bringing in veteran wide receivers who were cast off by other teams.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Diggs proved last season that he overcame the knee injury that cut short his 2024 season. He made 85 receptions for 1,013 yards with four touchdowns as he helped lead the <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/heavy.com\/sports\/nfl\/new-england-patriots\/\" title=\"New England Patriots\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"209435\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New England Patriots<\/a> to a Super Bowl appearance.<\/p>\n<p>Diggs has gotten into some off-the-field troubles that could complicate issues, however. He has been indicted on felony charges related to an alleged assault on a former personal chef.<\/p>\n<p>Bills Making Wide Receiver Moves of Their Own<\/p>\n<p>The Bills have seen significant changes to their own wide receiving corps since trading Diggs to the <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/heavy.com\/sports\/nfl\/houston-texans\/\" title=\"Houston Texans\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"209437\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Houston Texans<\/a> in 2024. The team adopted an \u201ceverybody eats\u201d approach the next season, spreading the targets out to a wider group of pass catchers.<\/p>\n<p>While that approach brought strong results for the team in 2024, the Bills struggled last season as their receiver group often failed to get separation from opposing defense and Josh Allen faced significant pressure.<\/p>\n<p>The Bills have already begun to address the group, trading for <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/heavy.com\/sports\/nfl\/chicago-bears\/\" title=\"Chicago Bears\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"209438\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chicago Bears<\/a> receiver DJ Moore.
