We Miami Dolphins fans have taken a beating over the last several decades, the kind of beating that would lose most teams the lion\u2019s share of their fan base. Despite the disappointment over the years, most of us have stuck around to some degree, hoping that the big turnaround is just around the corner. Despite many periods of hopeful improvement, the joy of once again being a winning franchise was short-lived.<\/p>\n
As many of you know, the team was founded by Joe Robbie and had the actor Danny Thomas as a business partner. Robbie eventually bought out Thomas, and he and his family held onto the team until the late 80s. Following Joe Robbie\u2019s passing, the Robbie family sold the team to successful businessman Wayne Huizenga in 1989. Huizenga then sold 50% of the team to Stephen Ross in 2009. Ross purchased an additional 45% of the team the following year, giving him overall control ever since.<\/p>\n
So what does the current owner, Chairman of the Board, and Managing General Partner of the Miami Dolphins, Stephen Ross, have to say about the current state of the team and where they have been under his ownership, as well as where they are going? Well, this is your chance to ask, although I doubt you will ever get a direct answer.<\/p>\n
