Even with 12 pro campaigns in the books, a former Carolina Panthers<\/a> pass rusher believes he’s got plenty left to offer.<\/p>\n Free-agent outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney recently spoke<\/a> with Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston about his present and future in the game. And as he’s done for quite some time now, the 33-year-old veteran and three-time Pro Bowler is prepared to prove his worth.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s the usual for me,\u201d Clowney told Wilson<\/a>. \u201cThe usual, all season. Come in, stand on my grind. I got a lot left in the tank. I don\u2019t know if other people know that, but I know that, I can continue to prove that to people and go out there and show people I\u2019m going to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n Clowney, a Rock Hill, S.C. native and former No. 1 overall pick out of the University of South Carolina, spent the 2024 as a member of the Panthers. In his age-31 season, he recorded a team-leading 5.5 sacks along with 46 combined tackles.<\/p>\n After being released by Carolina, in a not-so-clean break<\/a>, Clowney joined the Dallas Cowboys.
