Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s nuptials makes things tense for Chiefs general manager Brett Veach.<\/p>\n
The Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> are thrilled to have Travis Kelce back for another season.<\/p>\n Aside from his production on the field \u2014 the 36-year-old finished the 2025 NFL<\/a> season with 851 yards and five touchdowns \u2014 Chiefs general manager Brett Veach also loves what he brings to the table as a veteran in the locker room.<\/p>\n Kelce\u2019s fianc\u00e9e, Taylor Swift, described the 11-time Pro Bowler as a human exclamation point, and Veach seems to agree.<\/p>\n \u201cHe puts a smile on someone\u2019s face every single day,\u201d Veach said during a chat with Pete Schrager<\/a> on March 31. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter if you win a game by three touchdowns or if you lose a game. It\u2019s easy to lose sight of that and get into this head space where it\u2019s always negative all the time. He just keeps a positive spin and uplifting spin on everything he does. When he does, that\u2019s going to be almost impossible to replace.\u201d<\/p>\n Veach spoke from the NFL Annual Meetings in Phoenix, prepared to answer questions about the team\u2019s roster and the 2026 NFL draft. However, he was not prepared to field questions about Kelce\u2019s and Swift\u2019s upcoming nuptials<\/a>.<\/p>\n Brett Veach Appeared Very Uncomfortable Answering Questions About Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift\u2019s Wedding GettyChiefs GM Brett Veach was very uncomfortable discussing Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift\u2019s wedding.<\/p>\n When Schrager asked if Veach scored an invite to what\u2019s predicted to be the wedding of the century, Veach refused to say yes or no.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ll see,\u201d he answers. \u201cCouldn\u2019t say either way.\u201d<\/p>\n Schrager asks, \u201cIs it like no one is even allowed to talk about it? Is it pretty secure? Okay, I can see the uncomfort. The room just got really tight and the air just \u2013\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s like the hardest-hitting question you\u2019ll ever ask me,\u201d Veach quips. \u201cOff the record, you can ask me who we\u2019re picking at nine. I\u2019m gonna tell you who we\u2019re picking at nine. I cannot disclose anything about the wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n After the interview concluded, Schrager touched on the topic once more to clear the air. \u201cI don\u2019t want you to accuse me of trying to fish for like a TMZ headline,\u201d he said, \u201cbut the way that Brett Veach responded to me asking about whether he was invited to Travis and Taylor\u2019s wedding, it was like I asked him for a government secret. Gosh, he clammed up. Tells me there\u2019s been some strict orders, yay or nay, whether he is invited or not, do not speak on the wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n Veach, who\u2019s worked with the Chiefs organization since 2013, is almost certainly invited. One fan commented<\/a> on X, \u201cIt was funny to watch. He would have been happier turning over a playbook than to be asked about the wedding.\u201d Another person wrote<\/a>, \u201cVeach: manages hundred of millions of dollars in NFL salary cap. Cool as can be. He later had to clarify that the comment was made in jest.<\/p>\n \u201cI said that as a joke on the podcast, I said, \u2018Oh I\u2019ve signed all these NDAs,\u2019\u201d Graham explained during an Advertising Week Europe presentation March 25, The Independent reported<\/a>. \u201cAnd then it started getting reported as a serious thing in America.
