Lawrence is an intriguing EDGE prospect from UCF, and had a career year in 2025. He does have flaws in the run game, but it could be fixed. Considering the value, I think this would be a great pick for the Patriots.

Pick #63: Eli Stowers: TE: Vanderbilt

Tight End is another position the Patriots need to explore, especially considering that Hunter Henry is getting older, and is in the last year of his contract. Eli Stowers stands out as one of the best pass catching TEs in the draft this year, and he could end up becoming a very reliable target for the Patriots this season. The flaw in his blocking ability is very noticeable, but the Patriots just signed Julian Hill, who is a very capable blocking TE. Bottom line is we need a reliable pass catching TE who can make a difference, and Eli Stowers feels like the guy who could end up being a huge factor in the Patriots passing game this season.

Patriots trade picks 95 and 247 to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for picks 100 and 164.

Pick #100: Jalon Kilgore: S: South Carolina

The Patriots signed Kevin Byard to replace Jaylinn Hawkins, but they still need to invest in the position long-term, enter Jalon Kilgore. This guy is a do it all kind of player, and the Patriots could easily slide him into any position in the future. I know the team has bigger needs than a Safety, but this might be too good of a player to pass up.

Pick #125: Romello Height: EDGE: Texas Tech

Why not double dip at EDGE if this guy falls this far? Romello Height would easily slide into a solid role his first year on this team, and could end up making a major impact on the team if he manages to do his job. There are a few concerns about his power element, and the fact that he is going to be 25 at the start of the season, but man oh man wouldn’t it feel great to leave the draft with 2 new EDGE rushers?

Pick #131: De’Zhaun Stribbling: WR: Ole Miss

Stribbling feels like a player I am almost certain the Patriots will draft. He has the makings of a WR in the Josh McDaniels system, and the Patriots have met with him on a top-30 visit. I would not be surprised to see him in a Patriots jersey come this fall. He does struggle with his yards after catch, but you know the Patriots would work hard to fix that.

Pick #164: Zane Durant: DT: Penn State

Zane Durant is one of those picks the Patriots could look at to add more depth to an already good DT group. He does a good job at penetrating the run game and has a lot of power to beat OL if he goes one on one against them. His skills do need some refining, but he could be a pick that Mike Vrabel just can’t afford to pass on.

Pick #171: Anez Cooper: OG: Miami (FL)

Anez Cooper could be the kind of guy the Patriots look at to add some depth at RG. He is good at clogging space due to his size, and he can use his hands and weight to shock the rushers. He has flaws like all players do, but this could be a selection that New England looks at to shore up their IOL.

Pick #191: Robert Henry Jr.: RB: UTSA

The New England Patriots might need some extra depth at RB after releasing Antonio Gibson (The fact they haven’t signed a RB now also makes me think the team feels good about giving Lan Larison Gibson’s role as the third option at RB), and Robert Henry Jr. feels like the kind of guy who could be used very well by Josh McDaniels. He is undersized, and will be turning 25 years old, but he has some moves about him, and he is capable of being explosive. Easily the RB I hope New England looks at in the later rounds.

Pick #198: Diego Pounds: OT: Ole Miss

This is a guy I could see Doug Marrone and the other OL assistants having a fun time scheming up some plays for him. Diego Pounds converted from DL to LT, and managed to carve out a mostly solid role on the OL for Ole Miss. He is limited with his range, but he could end up being a guy New England likes to have around for depth purposes.

Pick #202: Andre Fuller: CB: Toledo

This is a player I really like as a late round pick for the Patriots. Andre Fuller was off to a great start before a core muscle injury sidelined him in 2024. He managed to bounce back in 2025, and become a first team All-MAC. There are concerns about the fact that he is penalty prone, has short arms, and can get tunnel vision, but he has so much upside to him, that using a 6th round pick on him could very well end up being a great decision for the Patriots.

Pick #212: Lewis Bond: WR: Boston College

Lewis Bond is from Boston, so at least the Patriots got a look at him during Boston College’s Pro Day. He has potential as a slot WR, but he needs to refine a few things. I would use a pick on him, and maybe you could stash him on the PS at worst.

And that is it! Let me know what you think!

Picture below as a reminder of who I took!

Here is my breakdown: Patriots trade 31st overall pick and a 2027 7th round pick to the Baltimore…

[2050
7,1167,249,2326,2094,6,208
0":"post-846812","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-new-england-patriots","8":"tag-football","9":"tag-new-england","10":"tag-new-england-patriots","11":"tag-newengland","12":"tag-newenglandpatriots","13":"tag-nfl","14":"tag-patriots
["GET
