When it comes to selecting a player in the NFL Draft, there are many different avenues you need to consider. Specifically, on the players themselves, one background that teams need to do their research on is a player\u2019s health. <\/p>\n
What kind of injuries, if any, have they had in their past? How serious were those injuries?\u00a0<\/p>\n
And one of the most important is, are they healthy right now? <\/p>\n
With the violent nature of football, it\u2019s natural that some of the top guys are currently battling through wounds. So, which ones could the Browns be targeting?<\/p>\n
Jordyn Tyson, Wide Receiver, Arizona State<\/p>\n
Tyson has gotten the short end of the stick many times during his collegiate career; he suffered a torn ACL\/MCL\/PCL at the start of his career, a broken collarbone in 2024, and, most recently, a hamstring injury that kept him out of combine drills.<\/p>\n
When Tyson was on the field, his impact was undeniable. He possesses the ability to make something out of nothing with yards after the catch and a huge catch frame.<\/a><\/p>\n Jermod McCoy, Cornerback, Tennessee<\/p>\n McCoy is one of the top corners in the draft; his athleticism and production call for him to be a top guy at his position in the future. McCoy missed the entire 2025 season with an ACL tear, though, and the NFL combine.<\/p>\n He returned to action recently at the Tennessee pro day, where he ran a 4.38 40-yard dash, jumped 38\u201d in the vertical jump, and 10\u20197\u201d in the broad jump.<\/p>\n Connor Lew, Center, Auburn<\/p>\n Lew is the premier center of the group, in a position of potential need for Cleveland. <\/a><\/p>\n He missed most of last season with a torn ACL, but also returned to action at the combine, posting 31 reps on the bench press. Lew will bring good quickness and strong hands to neutralize rushers at the next level.\u00a0<\/p>\n Chris Bell, Wide Receiver, Louisville<\/p>\n
