The Atlanta Falcons<\/a> officially added two more free agents to their roster on Wednesday, signing veteran cornerback Darnay Holmes and linebacker DeAngelo Malone. Both players have reportedly signed one-year deals.<\/p>\n

Holmes spent the last two seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders. The 27-year-old will bring some much-needed depth at the nickel spot. Over the last six seasons, Holmes has recorded 164 tackles (116 solo), four interceptions, 21 passes defended and 1.5 sacks.<\/p>\n

Malone was drafted by the Falcons in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft and has spent his entire career in Atlanta thus far. The 26-year-old has developed into a key special teams contributor over the years. Over four NFL seasons, Malone has recorded 59 tackles (32 solo), three sacks, and one interception.<\/p>\n

The Falcons have made several notable additions to their roster over the last month, including quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, running back Brian Robinson Jr. and edge rusher Azeez Ojulari.<\/p>\n
