NFL superstar Josh Allen and wife Hailee Steinfeld have announced the birth of their baby daughter.<\/p>\n

The actress and singer, 29, made the announcement in a post to her Substack, titled ‘Special Delivery’ on Thursday morning. She wrote: ‘Our baby girl has arrived!!<\/p>\n

‘We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.’<\/p>\n

The Buffalo Bills<\/a> quarterback, 29, and ‘Sinners’ actress got married in May 2025 and revealed they were expecting a baby back in December with a video of Allen kissing Steinfeld’s stomach.<\/p>\n

Steinfeld has shared updates with fans throughout her pregnancy. In a recent blog post titled ‘Getting ducks in a row’, she said: ‘While tuning in, I’ve experienced this surreal, full-body awareness that our world is about to expand in beautiful ways.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘We’re getting ready to meet someone we already love so much. I’ve racked my brain for words to describe that feeling, and I don’t have them yet. Maybe that’s the point. For now, I’m blessed to be settling into the feeling.’<\/p>\n

Not long after the news had been announced, the Bills posted a picture of a smiling Allen<\/p>\n

In a January press conference, Allen also said that being a father will be ‘the most important thing I’ll ever be’.<\/p>\n

‘It’s something that I will take with great pride. And we’re going to have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else,’ he said.<\/p>\n

‘But this is the most important thing I’ll ever be in my life, being a dad.<\/p>\n

‘I know I love being a football player, and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. But I’m looking forward to this one.’<\/p>\n

The Sinners star also noted that nursery books were scattered ‘everywhere.’<\/p>\n

The brunette pinup\u00a0said: ‘Everyone brought a book, so this baby is building quite the little library.’<\/p>\n

Steinfeld revealed last month that her mother organized a small but ‘gorgeous’ baby shower with her closest friends in attendance.<\/p>\n

She wrote on her Substack: ‘On a sunny Saturday in LA, my mom and about 30 women I love so much gathered in my most comfortable place \u2014 my backyard \u2014 for a baby shower. My mom planned the entire gorgeous thing.’<\/p>\n

She\u00a0explained that there was ‘no baby shower theme, per se, but a subtle nursery rhyme thread was woven throughout the decor.’<\/p>\n

Allen does not have long to spend with his wife and daughter with the Bills due to report back for their organized team activities on Monday.<\/p>\n

Not long after the news had been announced, the Bills posted a picture of a smiling Allen with the caption: ‘Girl dad’.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It’s been a busy offseason for Buffalo after they fired long-serving coach Sean McDermott and replaced him with Joe Brady.\u00a0<\/p>\n
