The rivalry between the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> has grown significantly over the past few seasons. Since 2020, the two teams have faced off four times in the postseason, showcasing the talents of two of the NFL\u2019s best quarterbacks: Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.<\/p>\n Although a new rivalry has developed between Kansas City and Buffalo, the two teams continue to do business with each other, making trades and signing free agents who have played for the opposing team. This was evident with the Chiefs\u2019 actions on Thursday.<\/p>\n Former Bills Cornerback Kaiir Elam is Heading to The Chiefs<\/p>\n According to NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo,\u00a0the Chiefs agreed to a deal with former<\/a> Buffalo Bills cornerback Kaiir Elam.<\/p>\n The Bills selected Elam in the first round of the 2022 NFL<\/a> Draft, but his stint in Buffalo didn\u2019t go as hoped. Over three seasons with the Bills, Elam started only 12 games in 29 appearances.<\/p>\n Last offseason, the Bills traded Elam to the Dallas Cowboys<\/a>. Bills general manager Brandon Beane took responsibility for drafting<\/a> Elam and expressed his regret over the decision.<\/p>\n \u201cUltimately, it\u2019s on me,\u201d said Beane, addressing reporters following the first wave of free agency, on May 19, via Bills On SI\u2019s Ralph Ventre. \u201cI made the selection that didn\u2019t work out, and I own that.
