Additionally, he has met privately with the New England Patriots and Houston Texans.

“I’ve had a couple of visits,” Randall told TCI on Thursday. “I’ve been to New England, going to Houston this upcoming week, and the Commanders are coming down to have a workout with me, so I’ve been getting a lot of general buzz, but those are the three teams that I feel like I’ve had some good connections with.”

Randall, who is currently training with Terrance Butler in his hometown, understands that while he has built close connections with those three organizations, he could hear his name called by any of the other 29 NFL teams on draft day.

“In the NFL you never know, I could get drafted by a team that I haven’t even talked to so I’m definitely just excited for the opportunity, he said. “Those three teams that I’ve had private workouts or visits with just have the things that have stood out to me, but like I said, you really never know.”

Randall made headlines at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis on March 2, running a 4.50-second 40-yard dash, which ranked eighth among all running backs. His shuttle run at Clemson’s Pro Day, slotting in at 4.28 seconds, would have been the fastest in his position at the Combine.

“I just wanted to show that I’m a true running back, especially in Indy, doing all the running back drills and being out there with some of the top running backs in the country, showing that I can compete on their level,” Randall said. “And coming back to Pro Day, showing that I can still run routes as a receiver. I think I did a really good job of that.”

In one year as a running back with the Tigers, Randall led Clemson with 814 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also recorded 254 receiving yards, the most of his career, and caught three touchdowns from veteran quarterback (and former roommate) Cade Klubnik.

Randall finished with 787 receiving yards on 84 receptions with five total touchdowns across his four-year career as a receiver. With that, he hopes to show the Commanders, as well as every NFL team, that he can be an addition as a “position-less player.”

CLEMSON – Former Clemson running back Adam Randall has a private workout scheduled with an NFL team ahead…

[2069
5320,427,7,5324,5322,6,5321,5323,855,111,2480,5325
0":"post-850164","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-washington-commanders","8":"tag-clemson-insider-podcast","9":"tag-commanders","10":"tag-football","11":"tag-gymnastics","12":"tag-hero","13":"tag-nfl","14":"tag-noonan","15":"tag-track-and-field","16":"tag-washington","17":"tag-washington-commanders","18":"tag-washingtoncommanders","19":"tag-wednesday
["GET
