That would be the strategy, collect more picks if that’s a possibility“

This makes sense, as the Rams currently do not pick from No. 95 all the way to pick 207 at the end of the sixth round. What would a trade down look like? Let’s look at the scenarios.

Los Angeles Rams trade down options are intriguing

Trade value charts can be a little finicky, and several teams use their own, so trying to discern the value is an inexact science.

Instead, I want to look at similar deals in the past to see what a package for the Rams could look like.

2024: New York Jets traded No. 10 and No. 203 for No. 11, No. 129, and No.157

2024: Jacksonville Jaguars traded No. 17 for No. 23, No. 167 plus 2025 3rd and 2025 4th

2023: New England Patriots traded No. 14 for No. 17 and No. 120

2022: Washington Commanders traded No. 11 for No. 16, No. 98, and No. 120

2022: Minnesota Vikings traded No. 12 and No. 46 for No. 32, No. 34, and No. 66

2021: Dallas Cowboys traded No. 10 for No. 12 and No. 84

2021: New York Giants traded No. 11 for No. 20 and No. 164, plus 2022 1st and 2022 4th

2021: Minnesota Vikings traded No. 14 and No. 143 for No. 23, No. 66, and No. 86

2020: San Francisco 49ers traded No. 13 and No. 245 for No. 14 and No. 117

Interestingly enough, the No. 13 pick has only been dealt just three times since 2011, and two of those times were for players (Darrelle Revis, DeForest Buckner). The last time it was traded prior to the 49ers’ small leap in 2020 was when the Denver Broncos traded it for No. 24 and two third-rounders, No. 70 and No. 87 back in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Now that we know what similar deals look like in the past, what can the Rams do now?

Rams trade down options

There are a few teams who have the capital and ability to make a move up during the draft that would help the Rams out. Let’s take a look at some potential deals, using the aid of A to Z Sports’ Mock Draft Simulator to help us out on fair deals.

Carolina Panthers: No. 19, No. 83, and No. 158

The Panthers haven’t shied away from being aggressive before, and this is a crucial season for everyone involved in Carolina. The Rams could get a pick in the fifth on top of another top-100 pick.

Pittsburgh Steelers: No. 21 and No. 76

This deal could have more added, depending on if the Steelers are paying the QB tax or not. The more capital the Rams can get, the better, and No. 76 is a perfect spot to capitalize on the strength of this class.

Philadelphia Eagles: No. 23, No. 68, and No. 137

I’m sure the Rams would be loath to trade with the Eagles, but Philly has a ton of capital and a need for top-flight talent. Getting a top-75 pick and a fourth-rounder would be a solid consolation prize.

Cleveland Browns: No. 24, No. 70, and No. 141

There’s been some talk about the Browns trading back from No. 6 overall, and while I don’t expect the Rams will bite on that, they can bite on the Browns’ need for top-flight talent.

Which options appeals to you the most?

Los Angeles Rams News

[2079
7,4099,1014,58,2619,2444,2611,6,424
0":"post-850222","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-los-angeles-rams","8":"tag-football","9":"tag-la-rams","10":"tag-los-angeles","11":"tag-los-angeles-rams","12":"tag-los-angeles-rams-draft","13":"tag-losangeles","14":"tag-losangelesrams","15":"tag-nfl","16":"tag-rams
["GET
