Kirk Cousins has found his next NFL home<\/a>, as the veteran quarterback signed with the Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> to serve as the team’s possible 2026 starter.<\/p>\n

However, it sounds like Cousins was receiving interest from multiple teams and ended up joining the Raiders to play for his former quarterbacks coach with the Minnesota Vikings<\/a>, Klint Kubiak.<\/p>\n

According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic<\/a>, the Arizona Cardinals<\/a>, Los Angeles Rams<\/a>, and Green Bay Packers<\/a> also showed interest in signing Cousins. Las Vegas ended up beating out all three franchises for the 37-year-old’s services.<\/p>\n

“[Kirk] Cousins had interest from several teams, including the Cardinals, Rams, and Packers,” Russini said.<\/p>\n

Green Bay and Los Angeles have a need for a backup signal-caller, so it makes sense that they looked into adding Cousins.<\/p>\n

Arizona signed Gardner Minshew this offseason<\/a> to compete with Jacoby Brissett. Cousins would’ve likely created a three-way quarterback competition for the Cardinals, but that won’t come to fruition.<\/p>\n

Now that Cousins is off the board, the Packers, Rams, and Cardinals will have to look elsewhere to put the finishing touches on their quarterback rooms heading into 2026.<\/p>\n
