There is no question about it, the Buffalo Bills\u2019 pass rush needs help, and the team is planning to look to the NFL Draft to fulfill their significant need<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Several players have been linked to the Bills<\/a> through various mock drafts, including a recent prognostication of this year\u2019s selection process assembled by\u00a0SB Nation\u2019s\u00a0Doug Farrar, who predicted Buffalo will take Auburn\u2019s Keldric Faulk<\/a> with their first-round pick.<\/p>\n

Buffalo holds the No. 26 overall selection, and the longtime NFL analyst believes the former Tigers\u2019 EDGE could help the Bills fortify one of their roster holes. Farrar acknowledged the Bills\u2019 free-agent acquisition of Bradley Chubb<\/a> as something that should boost that area of the team\u2019s defense. Still, he believes Buffalo needs additional firepower to throw at opposing quarterbacks.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d still like to add more to that rotation, and I\u2019ll do it with Keldric Faulk,\u201d he wrote. \u201c\u2026 Looked better than the numbers indicate, and can disrupt from multiple gaps.\u201d<\/p>\n

Faulk exploded for 11 tackles for loss and seven sacks as a sophomore in 2024 before taking a step back production-wise this past season. He finished the 2025 campaign with just five tackles for loss and two sacks, but when evaluating his potential, it\u2019s important to look beyond the statistics.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe could be the glue guy who ties the line together,\u201d added Farrar.<\/p>\n

Faulk stands a massive 6-foot-6 and weighs 276 pounds, making him a force up front. He would join Chubb and the Bills\u2019 top returning pass rusher<\/a>, Greg Rousseau, as the team\u2019s top three options at the position.<\/p>\n

Versatility is one of Faulk\u2019s calling cards, as the 20-year-old is supremely confident he can help a team at more than one position at the next level. That\u2019s just what the doctor ordered for the Bills, who have asserted their desire to acquire players who can move around the trenches under new defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can play all across the D-line, that\u2019s really what I did at Auburn,\u201d said Faulk<\/a> at the NFL Scouting Combine. \u201cI prepared myself, as well as the help from the coaches, to play all four positions across the line. That\u2019s what I really think separates me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Over 10% of his snaps on the defensive line last year came on the interior, according to Pro Football Focus<\/a>, but he spent most of his time as a defensive end\/outside linebacker. The Bills\u2019 defensive line rotation also includes defensive tackles Ed Oliver and Deone Walker, who will each return for a new-look Bills defense in 2026.<\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see how things play out within Buffalo\u2019s fresh odd-man front, particularly if a player of Faulk\u2019s caliber were to be added to the fold.<\/p>\n
