Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos have agreed to amicably negotiate a temporary custody arrangement after the NFL star dragged his ex-fianc\u00e9e<\/a> to court, Page Six has learned.<\/p>\n

Prescott \u2014 whose alleged \u201congoing infidelity issues\u201d<\/a> forced Ramos to call off their April 10 wedding weeks before it was set to take place in Lake Como, Italy \u2014 filed a Suit Affecting the Parent-Child Relationship (SAPCR) on March 17 in Collin County, Texas, where they live.<\/p>\n

In Texas, an SAPCR is often used by unmarried parents to define parental rights and responsibilities in their child or children\u2019s best interest.<\/p>\n

It establishes court orders for child custody, visitation (including possession and access), support and medical\/dental support.<\/p>\n

Prescott 32, argued in his petition that \u201cit is in the best interest of the children\u201d that he and Ramos \u201cbe appointed joint managing conservators\u201d of daughters Margaret, 2, and Aurora, 10 months.<\/p>\n

A hearing to discuss the matter was scheduled for Thursday; however, we\u2019re told the former couple agreed to try to resolve their issues outside of court. If they are unable to, they will reconvene at an April 16 hearing to hash out temporary measures.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe parties are working together. My client\u2019s very happy with the course that this matter is going,\u201d Ramos\u2019 Miami-based family law attorney Raymond Rafool told Page Six.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Prescott\u2019s attorney, Levi G. McCathern II, told us, \u201cThe case is not resolved, but the parties have agreed to postpone the first hearing in an attempt to work out all of the various issues without court intervention.<\/p>\n

\u201cDak is an absolutely phenomenal father and is looking forward to working with Sarah Jane to develop a healthy co-parent relationship and do what is in the best interests of his children.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Page Six previously reported, Ramos, also 32,\u00a0pulled the plug on her destination nuptials last month immediately after their joint bachelor-bachelorette party upon discovering that the Dallas Cowboys quarterback was allegedly using incognito social media profiles to send inappropriate messages to multiple women and ex-flings.<\/p>\n

An insider previously told us that Ramos believed Prescott had a history of communicating with other women during his relationship with her \u2014 but that she stayed with him hoping he would clean up his act for the sake of their family.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re told the certified wine and spirits specialist essentially issued Prescott an ultimatum<\/a> in January.<\/p>\n

Our insider added that Ramos was fully \u201cdone\u201d with the romantic aspect of her relationship with Prescott and wanted to focus on co-parenting their girls.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Prescott\u2019s attorney previously claimed to Page Six that \u201cthe decision to call off the wedding was mutual,\u201d adding, \u201cUnfortunately, when well-known people go through something personal, speculation tends to run wild, and the truth is often swept to the side. People should stop inventing stories and respect their privacy.\u201d<\/p>\n

After news of their split broke, rumors began circulating that Ramos had refused to sign a prenuptial agreement.<\/p>\n

However, she\u00a0quickly shut that down\u00a0via an Instagram comment, insisting, \u201cThis had nothing to do with a prenup. I hope we can put that rumor to rest now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prescott and Ramos began dating<\/a> in May 2023.
