The Titans signed center Austin Schlottmann to compete for the starting role, and right guard remains uncertain pending Kevin Zeitler’s situation. Despite these questions, there may be a few more concerns on the offensive line that Titans fans should keep an eye on.

Last offseason, the Titans signed left tackle Dan Moore Jr. to a four-year, $82 million deal. Moore was brought in to protect rookie QB Cam Ward’s blind side, but the on-field results were underwhelming. He allowed eight sacks and seven QB hits according to Pro Football Focus, and also received a pass-blocking grade of 62.5 which ranked him in the bottom third of qualifying tackles.

As for the right side of the offensive line, the Titans selected JC Latham seventh overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, Titans fans are still waiting to see the former top-10 pick come into his own. The 2024 Titans staff moved Latham to left tackle as a rookie, but he returned to the right side last season.

Titans offensive tackles were disappointing in 2025

Latham spent the first six weeks of the 2025 season sidelined due to a hip injury and returned to only turn in a lackluster season. Per PFF, he allowed 33 pressures, including eight sacks. He also racked up a concerning total of 14 penalties. It may be possible that the hip injury lingered and impacted his performance, but it’s difficult to ignore last season’s struggles.

If both Latham and Moore take a step forward in 2026, the Titans would be in a decent spot and finally gain some stability at each tackle spot. If they regress, the Titans may be forced to address offensive tackle next offseason. Whether that be in the 2027 NFL Draft or in free agency, it would cost picks or money that could’ve been spent elsewhere.

Ideally, new Titans OC Brian Daboll and offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo are able to maximize Moore and justify his massive contract. Latham will be entering his second season on his natural side of the offensive line and should be fully healthy. There is still reason for hope that Bricillo can turn this group around, but the Titans’ future could be in jeopardy if they don’t.

The Tennessee Titans have significantly upgraded the roster through free agency, but questions still remain on the offensive…

[2061
7,6,526,394,2411,527
0":"post-851526","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-tennessee-titans","8":"tag-football","9":"tag-nfl","10":"tag-tennessee","11":"tag-tennessee-titans","12":"tag-tennesseetitans","13":"tag-titans
["GET
