So with that in mind, which cornerbacks could make sense for the Jaguars at various points of the draft?

Round 2: Chris Johnson, San Diego State

         Jacob Musselman-Imagn Images

One of the biggest risers of the draft process has been cornerback Chris Johnson. Landing him in the second round might even be a move the Jaguars would have to do after some kind of trade-up, too. With that said, he would be a perfect fit in the Jaguars secondary and maybe give them the best young unit in the NFL.

Round 3: Davison Igbinosun, Ohio State

Adam Cairns/Columbus Dispatch / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

An experienced cover man with over 50 career starts, Davison Igbinosun would bring some size to the Jaguars’ cornerback room. He might not be a true play-maker, but he is a solid fit for the Jaguars’ zone scheme and could bring some upside to their depth and allow them even more flexibility for Travis Hunter.

Round 4: Will Lee III, Texas A&M

         Jacob Musselman-Imagn Images

A transfer from Kansas State. Will Lee III has four career interceptions and 24 pass breakups. He is a physical and willing cornerback against the run and against blockers at the line of scrimmage and would be the largest cornerback in the Jaguars’ entire secondary. This is also around the range where it makes sense for the Jaguars to start looking at cornerbacks, too.

         Darren Yamashita-Imagn Images

A former Florida International transfer who saw his production explode this season, Hezekiah Masses was a first-team ACC and second-team AP All-American thanks to five interceptions and 13 pass breakups. He has also started 36 games over the last three years, giving him plenty of experience ahead of his NFL transition.

Round 6: Devon Marshall, NC State

While Devon Marshall does not have years of starting experience, his play over the last two seasons deserves consideration on Day 3. He recorded two interceptions and a staggering 16 pass breakups last year, along with a forced fumble. He is a productive and instinctive cover man who would add depth and toughness right off the bat.

Round 7: Andre Fuller, Toledo

Another bigger cornerback, Andre Fuller has plenty of size and length to bring to a cornerback room. He plays football the way the Jaguars like out of their cornerbacks, and he also has some special teams value on kickoff and punt coverage teams.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — After some decisions the Jacksonville Jaguars have already made this offseason, it does not appear…

[2060
7,212,125,2401,213,6
0":"post-851838","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-jacksonville-jaguars","8":"tag-football","9":"tag-jacksonville","10":"tag-jacksonville-jaguars","11":"tag-jacksonvillejaguars","12":"tag-jaguars","13":"tag-nfl
["GET
