He hasn’t appeared in a game since, and there has been speculation about whether he’ll ever play football again.

Owusu-Koramoah recently spoke about what he is currently doing to recover.

He didn’t completely write off the idea of returning to professional football, but did say he needs to weigh the risks of playing again.

“For my recovery, I have been resting and going through different treatments, whether it’s soft tissue work, needling or other forms of therapy,” Owusu-Koramoah said. “But most importantly, I’ve been in deep conversation with specialists and physicians trying to understand the true risks of returning. It’s not just whether I can play again; it’s about understanding the cost of continuing and making a decision with one-hundred percent certainty.”

This statement from Owusu-Koramoah is more optimistic than some of the other reports about him. Some insiders have said that Owusu-Koramoah will probably never play again.

Owusu-Koramoah doesn’t frame it that way, but he does know that the potential of playing again comes with great risk.

His future remains uncertain, but his relationship with the team is still strong. Owusu-Koramoah has been with the Browns multiple times, showing up at practice sessions and staying close to his teammates throughout his recovery process. So he may not play with them again, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t still part of the Browns family.

Owusu-Koramoah is getting proper input and talking with specially-trained doctors, but no one is giving him a definitive answer. That means that there is still some hope of him coming back to the NFL, even if chances are slim right now. For his part, Owusu-Koramoah is very active, studying in school and talking about his experiences in the NFL.

The injury may have sidelined him in football, but not in life.

NEXT:
Insider Reveals Browns’ ‘Most Likely’ Decision With No. 6 Pick

Back in October of 2024, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah of the Cleveland Browns suffered a devastating neck injury and…

[2054
86,85,54,2337,7,6
0":"post-852457","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-cleveland-browns","8":"tag-browns","9":"tag-cleveland","10":"tag-cleveland-browns","11":"tag-clevelandbrowns","12":"tag-football","13":"tag-nfl
["GET
