Bengals’ veterans will return to Paycor Stadium to begin their offseason workouts on April 20.<\/p>\n
Per NFL rules, each team conducts a voluntary offseason program that is broken up into three phases.<\/p>\n
Phase One, beginning April 20, takes place in the first three weeks of the program and is limited to strength and conditioning training and physical rehabilitation.<\/p>\n
Phase Two follows over the ensuing three weeks, beginning on May 11. No live contact is allowed, but teams are permitted to begin on-field workouts, including individual and group drills, during this phase. Teams can conduct walkthroughs of drills and plays, but offensive players cannot line up against defensive players until Phase Three.<\/p>\n
Phase Three takes place over a three-week period after Phase Two. OTAs, or organized team activities, take place during this phase, beginning June 1 for Cincinnati. No live contact is allowed, but more drills are permitted, including 7-on-7, 9-on-7 and 11-on-11.<\/p>\n
This phase is also when Mandatory Minicamp will occur. The Bengals will hold OTAs during the first two weeks of June, while Mandatory Minicamp will take place June 16-18.<\/p>\n
