The Cincinnati Bengals are a very talented team, but they still have a few moves to make after landing players like Bryan Cook, Kyle Dugger, Jonathan Allen, Joe Flacco, and Boye Mafe in free agency this offseason.<\/p>\n

The Bengals could dive into the trade market this season, depending on who they land in the NFL draft.<\/p>\n

Josh Kendall of The Athletic recently reported the Falcons didn’t rule out trading <\/a>Kyle Pitts.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s my job as the general manager to do what\u2019s best for the organization,\u201d Falcons general manager<\/a> Ian Cunningham told Kendall. <\/a>\u201cKyle is a great player. We\u2019ve seen his skill set. Also, it\u2019s my job to listen. We\u2019re excited to have Kyle. We\u2019re excited for his future.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bengals could be the perfect landing spot for Pitts if the price is right.<\/p>\n

The Bengals need a tight end. They lost Noat Fant this offseason and haven’t done much to replace him. While Cincinnati has a loaded offense with two of the highest-paid wide receivers in the league, as well as one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the league, they still have a need at tight end.<\/p>\n

It’s unclear what Pitts’ trade value would be at this point. If the Bengals can keep their top two draft picks, they might be willing to make a deal for Pitts. This would add a 25-year-old tight end with very high upside. Pitts was a generational prospect when he came into the league, but he’s never reached that potential. Pairing Pitts with Joe Burrow could help the former first rounder reach a higher level.<\/p>\n

Could This Work for the Bengals?\"<\/p>\n

This isn’t the most likely deal for the Bengals, but it’s still one they should explore. The Falcons will likely want draft picks this season, while Cincinnati needs to focus on their defense in this year’s draft. <\/p>\n

Would a mid-round pick get it done? The Falcons are seemingly in a bit of a weird spot. Is it worth keeping Pitts this season or get a pick that could upgrade their roster for 2026 and beyond? <\/p>\n

If Pitts hits the block, the Bengals should be interested in trading for him. <\/p>\n
