Leaks of several prominent coaches and players attending an EA Sports College Football 26 covershoot<\/a> indicated Arizona State\u2019s Kenny Dillingham and Sam Leavitt would be featured on the video game\u2019s packaging.<\/p>\n

The results of that shoot were revealed Tuesday. ASU\u2019s head coach and quarterback will appear on the Deluxe Edition cover for the game that is now available for pre-order<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dillingham, who in his second year as head coach led the Sun Devils to a Big 12 Championship and College Football Playoff appearance, is featured in the middle of the cover throwing a double \u201cForks Up.\u201d Leavitt is to his left.<\/p>\n

Full details, like player ratings, are expected to be released Thursday.<\/p>\n

The game officially drops on July 10.<\/p>\n

Who are the featured cover athletes for EA Sports College Football 26?<\/p>\n

Alabama\u2019s Ryan Williams and Ohio State\u2019s Jeremiah Smith are the cover athletes for EA Sports College Football 26, the video-game developer announced Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The electric sophomore wide receivers were picked for the second edition of the franchise\u2019s reboot. Last year\u2019s game was the first in 11 years and was among the best-selling video games in 2024.<\/p>\n

Williams and Smith are posed together on the standard cover, while the deluxe edition also includes other players, coaches, mascots and former cover stars Reggie Bush, Tim Tebow and Denard Robinson.<\/p>\n

The \u201826 edition will test if the franchise still has the same staying power it had when it was released annually in the early 2000s.<\/p>\n

For the players who are featured in the game, it will certainly remain popular. Williams said in a statement released by EA Sports that the cover was \u201ca dream come true,\u201d and Smith called it \u201ca tremendous privilege.\u201d<\/p>\n

Williams and Smith broke onto the national scene in 2024 with their miraculous catches on the biggest stages.<\/p>\n

Williams\u2019 spinning TD grab to help beat then-No. 2 Georgia looked like it belonged in a video game. It was one of many wowing plays from the young receiver. Williams finished his freshman season with 48 receptions for 865 yards and eight receiving touchdowns.<\/p>\n

Smith was a major part of the Buckeyes\u2019 run to a national championship. He regularly hauled in one-handers that decimated the confidence of his defenders.<\/p>\n

In a CFP quarterfinals win over top-seeded Oregon, Smith had seven receptions, 187 yards and two touchdowns. He finished his freshman year with 76 catches, 1,315 yards and 15 receiving touchdowns.<\/p>\n
