Joaquin Davis (WR)

Davis has impressed at Broncos camp in 2025. The wide receiver prospect boasts intriguing measurables —6’4″ and 195 pounds, with a 4.36 forty-yard dash — making him a player to watch this summer.

He may not make the 53-man roster late in August, but based on the Vikings’ skimpy wide receiver depth at the moment, he made the cut on the fastest players list just in case he’s an active roster member in 2026.

The 6’4″ height and 4.36 speed are desirable.

t5. Dallas Turner (OLB)

We’ve been tracking the Vikings’ fastest players for about six years on this website, and this is the first time an outside linebacker has made the cut.

Of course, Turner got the nod because last year’s speedsters — Chandler, Nailor, Jackson, and Moore — are no longer with the club. But it’s still pretty impressive that a defensive lineman (OLB) is one of the team’s fastest players.

At the 2024 NFL Combine, Turner ran a 4.46 forty.

4. Kyler Murray (QB)

Murray’s speed at his Pro Day seven years ago clocked him at 4.44. He’s also claimed to have run a 4.38, though those circumstances are not documented.

Regardless, the man is fast as hell and is one of the fastest quarterbacks in NFL history. He’s instantly the fastest Vikings quarterback ever, and Minnesota got him this offseason for the NFL’s version of free. Murray is likely to lead the team as QB1 in 2026. Fans cannot rule out his rushing prowess; he’ll take off and run from time to time, and he usually ends a season with around 600 rushing yards when fully healthy.

On paper, Murray is somehow just as fast or faster than Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. Wild.

3. Myles Price (WR)

An undrafted free agent gem last year from the University of Indiana — that means something now — Price grabbed Minnesota’s kick returner and punt returner jobs by the throat last summer. He’s the Vikings’ new special teams ace.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Myles Price fields a punt and turns upfield during third-quarter action in an international matchup Sep 28, 2025, at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland. Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-Imagn Images

It always felt like Price was on the cusp of breaking a return for a touchdown, transactions that were frequently negated by dumb penalties. Perhaps he’ll get off the schneid in 2026.

Price is 24 and logged a 4.43 at his Pro Day in 2025.

2. Tai Felton (WR)

Felton’s speed? 4.37. The problem? The Vikings drafted him in Round 3 last year — and then barely used him on offense.

But as the other WR speedster, Nailor, left town in free agency last month, Felton profiles as the WR3 in 2026, so long as Minnesota doesn’t draft another wideout early in the draft or sign a free agent like DeAndre Hopkins, Tyreek Hill, Stefon Diggs, or Deebo Samuel.

If Kevin O’Connell ever decides to lean full tilt into using Felton on offense, he’s got a speed demon on his hands.

Our Kyle Joudry wrote about Felton last month, “The Vikings will still be leaning on personnel packages that feature three receivers (or more). Most commonly, there’s 11 personnel, a pretty standard way of playing football in the modern NFL. In those instances, Mr. Felton could be the one who gets sent onto the gridiron.”

“Sinking a 3rd into him, a tangible action, means that Minnesota believes in Felton’s potential. So, too, does the unwillingness to add someone to jump into the open WR3 spot tell us much. Look for Felton to get the first shot at showing he can get the job done.”

1. Isaiah Rodgers (CB)

At his Pro Day in 2020, Rodgers ran a 4.28, and that’s pretty damn unfathomable. Vikings fans saw that speed in game motion last September when Minnesota blew out the Cincinnati Bengals, and Rodgers produced one of the single-best defensive performances by a player in NFL history.

Minnesota Vikings cornerback Isaiah Rodgers reacts after breaking up a pass in coverage, showing tight technique and awareness Sep 21, 2025, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
