“QB1 and @15andMahomies hosted their annual Read for 15 event this week, encouraging elementary-aged students to form the habit of reading each day \ud83d\udcda”<\/p>\n

The event is part of Mahomes\u2019 “15 and the Mahomies Foundation,”<\/a> which focuses on improving the lives of children through education, health, and community programs.<\/p>\n

Photos from the event included in the Chiefs’ post show Mahomes reading to students<\/a> and posing with children participating in the program, which challenges them to read at least 15 minutes per day over a multi-week period.<\/p>\n

This initiative<\/a> has become a central part of Mahomes\u2019 off-field efforts since launching the foundation in 2019, when it was announced<\/a>.<\/p>\n
