The Aaron Rodgers<\/a> to the Denver Broncos rumor<\/a> seemingly came out of nowhere, but one insider has not only dismissed the speculation, but also claimed a signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> is imminent.<\/p>\n On Thursday’s episode of the Kaboly + Mack podcast, Steelers<\/a> insider Mark Kaboly claimed the Steelers were very close to striking a deal with the 42-year-old veteran quarterback and categorized the Rodgers-to-Denver narrative as “misinformation.”<\/p>\n “I can’t even describe to you how much of an almost done deal this is,” Kaboly said about Rodgers coming to Pittsburgh.<\/a> “There’s a lot of misinformation out there, one would be that he would go to Denver. I don’t know if Denver’s interested. Nothing makes sense to me on that one.”<\/p>\n Earlier in the week, Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio claimed that the Broncos could bring Rodgers in for a visit if starting quarterback Bo Nix wouldn’t be at full health to start the regular season.
