As draft season takes center stage, there is going to be a fair share of late risers. One prospect who has just recently caught the attention of everyone is a defensive tackle from Nigeria, Uar Bernard. He looks like he was built in a lab, and the Baltimore Ravens should be taking notice.<\/p>\n
Bernard\u2019s measurables and testing numbers are simply out of this world.<\/p>\n

In a recent article, he highlighted that he\u2019s a player unlike any other<\/a>. He\u2019s gotten Victor Wembanyama comparisons. A literal alien.<\/p>\n The Ravens have taken swings on upside in the past, and with those out-of-this-world numbers, it\u2019d be silly not to at least contemplate selecting Bernard with one of their 11 picks. He\u2019s looking like a dream prospect. It may be tough to gauge his draft range, but they should have pretty much every opportunity to select him.<\/p>\n Baltimore Ravens should be taking note of Uar Bernard\u2019s insane profile<\/p>\n The Ravens have changed their tone this offseason. They\u2019ve put an emphasis back on the trenches under new head coach Jesse Minter. The defensive front looks much more fearsome after signing Trey Hendrickson<\/a>, but they could still use depth and may have interest in one more piece along the interior<\/a>. Bernard could be that.<\/p>\n Of course, he wouldn\u2019t be an instant contributor. He\u2019s very new to the game and is still learning through the NFL\u2019s International Player Pathway program. However, if he puts it all together, his ceiling is unreal. It\u2019d be a swing for the fences. We\u2019re talking about a Barry Bonds-level swing.<\/p>\n There\u2019s a lot more to football than just size and athleticism. That goes without saying. But if he lands with the right coaching staff, he could seriously take off, and Jesse Minter is probably itching to get him on a plane to Baltimore.<\/p>\n
