The Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> owner and CEO Clark Hunt\u2019s offseason just got a lot more exciting. His eldest daughter, Gracie Hunt, is officially engaged.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs heiress announced that she\u2019s set to wed Derek Green. The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post on April 4. They wrote, \u201cIt was always you \ud83d\udc8d\u2764\ufe0f\u267e\ufe0f\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.\u201d Romans 8:28.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gracie\u2019s little sister, Ava Hunt, commented, \u201cI am overjoyed \ud83d\udc8d\ud83e\udd0d.\u201d Gracie\u2019s mom, Tavia Hunt, wrote, \u201cDREAMS DO COME TRUE!! \ud83d\ude0d\u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\udc8d Congratulations you two!! We love you so much!!!\ud83c\udf8a\u201d<\/p>\n

Green, son of former Chiefs quarterback Trent Green, who played for the franchise from 2001-2007, went all out for the proposal and splurged on a stunning engagement ring. Tavia revealed on Instagram that both the Hunt and Green families flew out for the surprise proposal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Both Gracie and her future husband graduated from Southern Methodist University. Green works as the senior manager of sports and entertainment<\/a> at Creative Planning in Dallas, Texas. As for Gracie, the influencer looks to take over the family business one day. The Hunt family has a reported net worth of $24.8 billion,<\/a> per Forbes.<\/p>\n

Gracie Hunt & Derek Green Hard Launched Their Relationship in April 2025 With a Nod to Taylor Swift<\/p>\n

After posting photos of Green without tagging him, the couple went public with their relationship in April 2025. She posted a video at Arrowhead Stadium and wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time, \u201cAfter meeting 7.5 years ago in this place\u2026 all along there was some invisible string.\u201d<\/p>\n

The caption is a nod to Taylor Swift\u2019s song, \u201cInvisible String,\u201d from the album \u201cFolklore,\u201d released in 2020.<\/p>\n

Green, 26, and Gracie, 27, have been inseparable ever since. Hunt wrote a tribute<\/a> to her future husband on his birthday in September. She wrote on Instagram, \u201cHappy birthday to my best friend! \ud83e\udd73 Cheers to 26 and your best year yet! I love you \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former pageant queen also referred to herself as \u201cPresident of the DG fan club \u2764\ufe0f\u201d in March.<\/p>\n
