He split last season between the Cowboys and Titans and has 114 tackles, two interceptions and three fumble recoveries in 19 starts and 43 games covering his first four seasons in the league.

The Chiefs announced the deal with Elam, but the terms were not immediately available.

Kansas City has veteran Kristian Fulton and youngsters Nohl Williams and Kevin Knowles on the roster. The addition of Elam takes some of the pressure off selecting a cornerback early in the draft, where the Chiefs have two first-round selections.

Two-time All-Pro cornerback and 2019 NFL AP Defensive Player of the Year Stephon Gilmore, who last played in…

[2048
1615,2910,215,214,53,2086,7,88,6,1612,9
0":"post-854729","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-buffalo-bills","8":"tag-app-sports","9":"tag-associated-press","10":"tag-bills","11":"tag-buffalo","12":"tag-buffalo-bills","13":"tag-buffalobills","14":"tag-football","15":"tag-news","16":"tag-nfl","17":"tag-rochester","18":"tag-sports
["GET
