The View from VT: April 4th, 2026<\/p>\n

1) Bills Snatch a Former Vikings WR<\/a>: Trent Sherfield went from Buffalo to Minnesota to Buffalo (with some other stops around his career). He\u2019s a physical receiver who doesn\u2019t offer a ton when it comes to catching the football. Where he adds value is as a blocking specialist alongside being an ace on specials. <\/p>\n

2) Vikings Announced Jordan Addison Decision<\/a>: The receiver is an excellent talent<\/a>. To be sure, there are problems away from the field, most notably in the driving infractions. Sorting out those concerns will mean being able to rally around a player who is capable of being very, very good. <\/p>\n

3) NFL Website Recommends Spicy Draft Trade for Vikings<\/a>: Anything is possible. Best guess on this end of the internet is that Minnesota opts to stick around No. 18. Seeing a trade likely means moving down rather than moving up, but I\u2019ve been wrong before. <\/p>\n

4) Vikings GM Search Already Has a Frontrunner<\/a>: Rob Brzezinski has done a nice job. The Wilfs \u2014 the team\u2019s ownership group \u2014 appear quite pleased with the performance of the long-time executive. Even still, there will be a process afterwards to search for a permanent GM. <\/p>\n

5) Blockbuster Trades the Vikings Could Pull Off in the Draft<\/a>: So far, things have been restrained in the Twin Cities. Signing Kyler Murray has generated a ton of chatter but he\u2019s playing for just $1.3 million. Other deals have been similarly modest. Does that patient approach continue into the 2026 NFL Draft? If so, the trades could be more scarce than in recent years. <\/p>\n
