A lot has already been written about how good Los Angeles Rams right tackle Warren McClendon Jr.<\/a> was in 2025, but it’s always a good thing to see more positive news come out of the woodwork during the offseason.<\/p>\n According to Sports Info Solutions<\/a>, McClendon had a 2.1% blown block rate in 2025, which ranked third-best in the NFL behind only Penei Sewell of the Detroit Lions and Laremy Tunsil of the Washington Commanders.<\/p>\n This is huge considering those two have a combined nine Pro Bowls and three All-Pros between them. McClendon, meanwhile, had never started more than five games in a season before taking on the role vacated by Rob Havenstein’s injury in 2025.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n What’s also impressive is the names McClendon is ahead of on this list: Andrew Thomas, Jordan Mailata and Dion Dawkins have long been considered some of the best tackles in the league. And now, McClendon could be joining that tier of players if he continues to excel in 2026.<\/p>\n With Havenstein officially retired<\/a>, McClendon should be the next man up to take the starting right tackle<\/a> spot for good.
