The aggression is the best trait both undersized defenders share. They also tick boxes for speed, agility, explosiveness, technique, and coverage ability- but there’s just something about a smaller player embodying a heat-seeking missile that makes you love football, and it’s become especially important to the identity of “being a Seahawk”.Last month, I wrote about why I think Terrell would actually make a great Coby Bryant replacement, and an awesome candidate to convert to safety (in a day and age in which some of the most important traits a safety can possess are abilities to do a corner’s job). Some might see that as a slight, and others might think it complicates the No. 32 pick’s positional value. Seattle traded up to take Nick Emmanwori No. 35 last year, though, and Mike Macdonald’s first-ever draft pick in a true position of influence netted the Baltimore Ravens Kyle Hamilton in the middle of the first round in 2022, who changed their defense- and the NFL’s style- for years to come. If anyone prefers to emphasize the safety position, it’s Macdonald. The earlier clip makes me especially intrigued when looking back on the Super Bowl LX-winning gameplan they put together. It centered around Devon Witherspoon blitzing and creating messes in the box constantly. After seeing Terrell show the ability to do so on tape, that’d be the most exciting part about adding him to this defense and their group of positionless, modern defensive backs.

Expert NFL picks: Exclusive betting insights only at USA TODAY.

April 5, 2026, 11:00 a.m. PT When the Seattle Seahawks asked nine NFL analysts who they expected the…

[2081
95878,7,6,238,237,261,2635,96186,96187,95882,100249,95896,95888,95906,95883,95881
0":"post-855647","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-seattle-seahawks","8":"tag-accessfree","9":"tag-football","10":"tag-nfl","11":"tag-seahawks","12":"tag-seattle","13":"tag-seattle-seahawks","14":"tag-seattleseahawks","15":"tag-sstssportsnflseahawks","16":"tag-sstsnseahawks","17":"tag-tagamerican-football","18":"tag-tagdevon-witherspoon","19":"tag-tagnational-sports","20":"tag-tagnfl","21":"tag-tagoverall-positive","22":"tag-tagsports-news","23":"tag-typestory
["GET
