4<\/p>\n The 49ers are yet to make a final decision on wideout AiyukCredit: Getty<\/p>\n Aiyuk<\/a> didn\u2019t take the field for a single snap in 2025, as he was recovering from a knee injury he suffered in 2024.<\/p>\n His recovery didn\u2019t go according to the projected timeline and tensions between Aiyuk and the franchise grew.<\/a><\/p>\n Head coach Kyle Shanahan<\/a> signalled that the organization had all but moved on<\/a> from one of the most talented, yet troubled, receivers in the league.<\/p>\n That was evidenced by the aggressive moves made by the 49ers<\/a> in free-agency.
