Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels, WR Terry McLaurin, and others are wasting no time getting work in before the offseason workouts begin. A social media post gave us a glimpse of what\u2019s to come.<\/p>\n

The Washington Commanders are in a critical offseason with the 2026 NFL Draft quickly approaching<\/a>, but in the meantime, players are doing their jobs, too.<\/p>\n

As the team adds to the roster, QB Jayden Daniels and his teammates are getting a head start on the season by putting in work together. We got a first peek at what the offense could look like, and a hype post from the UCLA football team\u2019s social media pages with Daniels and the Commanders practicing at their outdoor facility.<\/p>\n

Jayden Daniels and the Commanders are already working out<\/p>\n

Some players travel the world during the offseason, and some play in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic game<\/a> and practice with his teammates while he enjoys time away. That\u2019s exactly what Daniels is doing after being spotted visiting the UCLA football team\u2019s campus back in his home state to get work in with the team.<\/p>\n

We finally have the schedule for the Washington Commanders\u2019 offseason workouts coming up after the draft, but Daniels, Terry McLaurin, Dyami Brown, and Rachaad White decided to start getting ready for the season now.<\/p>\n

This is a critical season ahead for everybody, but especially for Daniels after an injury-riddled 2025 season, and the same could be said for McLaurin. The offense will have a lot of new faces, but it also needs to see those two leaders stay healthy and make an impact once again.<\/p>\n

2026 is an important season for the Commanders<\/p>\n

2025 was a nightmare season for everybody, but it was a season to forget for Daniels and McLaurin. Last offseason, McLaurin and Daniels didn\u2019t get nearly as much time together as they should have after McLaurin\u2019s contract holdout, which lasted almost the entire offseason. <\/p>\n

Getting a head start on their connection will help when they actually report in May and have to start implementing David Blough\u2019s new offensive system. This could also very well be McLaurin\u2019s last season in Washington, with his contract taking a major cap hit in 2027<\/a>, and he has to have a bounce-back season.<\/p>\n

Having Brown as a familiar face back will certainly help, and the same can be said for new RB Rachaad White<\/a>, who might be new to the Washington Commanders, but he was Daniels\u2019 teammate at Arizona State.<\/p>\n

Now we sit back and see who else the Commanders add in the 2026 NFL Draft, and see if another weapon like Brandon Aiyuk comes over to help out the offense.<\/p>\n
