Ahead of this week\u2019s voluntary offseason workout program start date of April 7, Saleh\u2019s been impressed with what he\u2019s seen from Ward behind the scenes. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just don\u2019t see (Ward) failing\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New head coaches are entitled to conduct an additional\u00a0voluntary\u00a0veteran minicamp.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tennessee under Saleh is one of 10 NFL clubs who will get that head start. Ward is still in a return-to-play protocol after suffering a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder during the first drive of his Week 18 start against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Ward did resume throwing last month. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The No. 1 overall pick in 2025, <a href=\"https:\/\/atozsports.com\/nfl\/tennessee-titans-news\/why-tennessee-titans-gm-mike-borgonzi-feels-a-heightened-sense-of-urgency-ahead-of-critical-year-2-for-cam-ward\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">this coming season<\/a> is massive for Ward and the Titans franchise. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI try to observe people from afar,\u201d said Saleh at the NFL\u2019s Annual Meeting last week. \u201cCam\u2019s there every day. Obviously, we can\u2019t talk ball with him. I can watch him and how he interacts with people in the building. I think it\u2019s very impressive for a young man to walk through the building and know everybody by name. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFrom the janitors, to the QCs (quality control coaches), to the chefs, to the trainers and addresses them by name. He\u2019s a really, really good man.
