I’ve got, first going with the New York Giants taking Jeremiah Love, fifth overall.<\/p>\n

Just, I feel like they’re, they’re kinda i- in a tough spot in this draft class ’cause obviously it’s not like you’re gonna take a quarterback at four, Jackson Dart, or f- at five, excuse me.<\/p>\n

Jackson Dart showed enough last year.<\/p>\n

And, and there’s not really a, a better option that you would, would feel like taking at five unless, you’re, you’re in these Ty Simpson wards like, like everyone else seems to be on the internet.<\/p>\n

so I think when you’re looking at just how their roster’s constructed, O line was pretty solid last year.<\/p>\n

They’ve resigned some guys up there, solidified that unit.<\/p>\n

Malik Nabers will be coming back this year.<\/p>\n

they’ve got on, on defense, they- they’ve spent a lot of resources on their front seven recently with, you know, a Dexter Lawrence extension, the Brian Burns trade, drafting Little Carter.<\/p>\n

So maybe you go elsewhere and shoot.<\/p>\n

Once you start like cutting down through, what’s left, I guess like adding Jeremiah Love kinda makes sense.<\/p>\n

And I, I think it would make sense from the standpoint of, like Jackson Dart, I think he, I think he would probably be best if he had like one of these, you know, h- heavy duty backs next to him, or at least someone that will go out and break, you know, some explosive runs because, he’s someone that’s always gonna be hunting for the big plays, you know.<\/p>\n

And there’s some like benefits and, and, that come with that, and there’s also some times where, where it backfires.<\/p>\n

So maybe just having like a little bit of an easy button for that offense would help ’cause we saw Like before, before Cam, Skattebo had that, you know, just horrific injury that kind of makes this pick palatable, at five, that was, that was a, a nice little unit for, or a nice little piece of their offense that was kind of like helping them stay on schedule a little bit and, and figure out like what they wanted to be, up front.<\/p>\n

So, I think it makes sense.<\/p>\n

Also, just to if you wanna just like go straight to meme territory, Greg Roman is like the senior advisor of this offense with John Harbaugh, we, we both know that they love running the ball.<\/p>\n

even if you just go back- Yeah and look at some of the other guys that, have, have been a part of, John’s offensive staff, like over the years.<\/p>\n

You got Greg Roman.<\/p>\n

Obviously they ran a lo- the ball a lot with Todd Monken.<\/p>\n

Gary Kubiak was there.<\/p>\n

So this is something that he wants to do.<\/p>\n

it’s something that’s gonna be a big part of this offense and it would feel easy, right?<\/p>\n

Like, okay, well we got a starting running back.<\/p>\n

We, we, it, it feels safe even though I, I’m not sure like if, if I would take him at five myself.<\/p>\n

but I think in this class it is pretty defensible.<\/p>\n

Yeah.<\/p>\n

Lots of, a lot of threads to pull on there.<\/p>\n

I think the interesting thing is that, like there’s just been too much smoke around the Giants and wanting to add a running back for, for us to completely rule this out.<\/p>\n

Like there were reports that they were really interested in Kenneth Walker in free agency.<\/p>\n

I think the price tag probably got a little bit too high for them.<\/p>\n

I do think there’s been enough smoke about Jeremiah Love potentially being the pick here that we can’t rule it out.<\/p>\n

I do think, from a selfish perspective, you know, if you want Jeremiah Love, like, on your dynasty fantasy football roster, you probably don’t want him to go here ’cause I think Skattebo’s good enough for him to like constantly be involved, you know, maybe as a goal line, as a pass catch.<\/p>\n

Like, I think he’s good enough to- If, if, if, if he’s alive.<\/p>\n

You know, like-<\/p>\n
