49ers LB Dre Greenlaw admitted that he wasn\u2019t happy during his time with the Broncos, which led him to re-sign with the team this offseason.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor me, it was like, the fact that I\u2019m not healthy, I don\u2019t feel that twitch or that gear that I felt like I need to have, but obviously I\u2019m out here trying to do everything I can to be on the field,\u201d Greenlaw explained on\u00a0Terron Armstead\u2019s \u201cThe Set\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cIt makes it tough when you pay a guy $11 million and he\u2019s only on the field 50 percent of the time. It made it tough for me. It made it to the point where it kind of makes you not happy. Now I\u2019ve got to slowly come in and take reps from somebody else, which the linebackers were playing really, really good at the time, so now I\u2019m just taking reps from this guy. And now it\u2019s like, OK, we\u2019re splitting reps, how are we going to do it? One week it\u2019s this, one week it\u2019s that, and it\u2019s like, I\u2019ve never been in that position before. Yeah, I just wasn\u2019t happy. That\u2019s really what it boiled down to at the end of the day. Everything works out for a reason. I don\u2019t regret none of it. I\u2019m thankful for it all, for Sean ( Payton) and everybody that accepted me into that organization, teammates and all. But, yeah, I\u2019m excited to be a Niner.\u201d<\/p>\n 49ers GM John Lynch said they are hopeful about TE George Kittle<\/a> returning from his torn Achilles in time for Week 1 against the Rams.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019ll be some management during training camp,\u201d Lynch said, via Vic Tafur of The Athletic.<\/a>\u00a0\u201cHe\u2019s progressing at a good rate.\u201d<\/p>\n As for DE Nick Bosa<\/a>\u2018s recovery from a torn ACL, Lynch said his rehab could stretch into the regular season.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cIt could go into the season, but he\u2019s doing really well,\u201d Lynch said.\u00a0<\/p>\n Lynch expects to bring in more talent at the left guard spot to compete against\u00a0 Robert Jones<\/a>, Connor Colby<\/a>, and Brett Toth<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think we\u2019re done there yet,\u201d Lynch said. \u201cYou know, we still have a draft.\u201d<\/p>\n Ole Miss WR De\u2019Zhaun Stribling said he had a formal Combine interview with the Seahawks.
