Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold got a Super Bowl ring and a wedding ring in the span of two months.<\/p>\n
Darnold \u2014 who helped Seattle beat the New England Patriots<\/a>, 29-13, in February\u2019s big game \u2014 married fianc\u00e9e Katie Hoofnagle<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n Hoofnagle announced the news on her Instagram Story with a phot of her wedding ring captioned, \u201cI have a husband now, btw.\u201d<\/p>\n The wedding featured an who\u2019s-who of NFL star with Josh Allen and wife Hailee Steinfeld, Christian McCaffrey and wife Olivia Culpo, as well as Seattle teammate Cooper Kupp and his wife Ann Marie, all in attendance, according to People.<\/a><\/p>\n Allen and Steinfeld attended just days after announcing the birth of a baby girl.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cHailee and Josh were so sweet on the dance floor, clearly having a blast,\u201d a source told People. <\/p>\n \u201cPeople were politely congratulating them on their baby girl, and they were very kind.\u201d<\/p>\n Sam Darnold kisses Katie Hoofnagle after winning the Super Bowl. _hoofy\/Instagram<\/p>\n Darnold and Hoofnagle announced their engagement on social media last July. They included snapshots of the special moment, which took place near the beach in Dana Point, Calif.<\/p>\n The two-time Pro Bowler, 28, proposed to Hoofnagle with a stunning radiant-cut diamond ring set on a pav\u00e9 band.<\/p>\n Hoofnagle showed off her diamond ring while supporting Darnold at Seahawks games throughout the 2025 season.<\/p>\n Upon sealing the Seahawks\u2019 Super Bowl 2026 victory on Feb. 8, Darnold was overheard gushing about the couple\u2019s wedding <\/a>while on the field at Levi\u2019s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.<\/p>\n Sam Darnold and Katie Hoofnagle _hoofy\/Instagram<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve got about a month until the wedding,\u201d Darnold said<\/a> in a video shared Wednesday on the NFL\u2019s Instagram account at the time. \u201cI was just telling [NBC broadcaster] Maria Taylor, the one who interviewed me, I was like, \u2018yeah, is it weird that I\u2019m thinking about the wedding right now and that it\u2019s in a month, and I\u2019m like, frickin, I\u2019m excited, but also just, it\u2019s a lot, we got a lot to do.
