The 2026 NFL Draft continues to creep closer to its beginning \u2014 with the annual selection process kicking off on April 23rd. The Miami Dolphins hold two first round picks this year \u2014 starting with pick number 11.<\/p>\n
On Monday, one of the draft\u2019s premier defensive backs \u2014 cornerback Mansoor Delane out of LSU \u2014 will visit with the Miami Dolphins. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, that visit will carry over into Tuesday as well.<\/p>\n
The Dolphins are in the midst of a significant rebuild, so nearly any position makes sense to target for their two first round selections \u2014 with cornerback being a major need on the team\u2019s roster. Miami\u2019s two top corners from the 2025 season remain free agents \u2014 Rasul Douglas and Jack Jones. However, new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan has been busy this offseason shopping the bargain bin for additions \u2014 adding Darrell Baker Jr., A.J. Green III, and Marco Wilson to the team\u2019s cornerback room.<\/p>\n
